Pay It Forward and Make $500

Let's Help Some People!

If you've been around here for a while you'll know that every now and again I start a thread giving people to chance to get some money straight out of my Paypal account into theirs.

Since we're getting into product launch season again and I know that many people are going to start looking longingly at their credit card wondering if they should buy the product that's caught their eye - I wanted to try and offset that worry a little.

As I was considering starting this thread, fellow warrior Alvin Huang PM'd me asking if I was going to do another soon and offering to put $100 in the 'kitty'.

So, rather than start it low and rely on more people doing the same, I'm going to take that $100 and add $400 of my own.

So, right now there's $500 up for grabs.

Now comes the fun part - what do you need to do to get it :)

I said it'll be free, just like usual but this time I want you to take some sort of action to help someone else.

If you've heard the term "pay it forward" you'll know what I'm talking about.

In the past when I've given people money (behind the scenes) I've just asked that they pay it forward when they get the chance.

This time I want that to be a condition of being eligable for this booty. (that's treasure in UK slang, it just occured to me that Americans might read it differently :) )

So, here's what I want you to do.

Help someone out in whatever way you can.

If you can't think of how to help someone then go to either of these two websites and make a donation:

http://www.heartbeat.co.uk/

Post a comment below indicating which you did and why you want the $500. (I'll need to be able to contact you if you win)

At some point in the next 30 days I'll pick a winner and send them the money.

Andy

Hi Andy

Do you remember me? I met you at a London Lunch about 6months ago. I sat at your table and we talked about internet marketing. I was a real newbie then (stil am ) now I am about to set up a site promoting businesses from and to Africa online (my niche). I will send you the link when it is ready. Will you be at the next lunch this thursday 28th March? I would like to buy your book. Ohh I can see where it is on the site now! I couldn't figure out where it was.
I really would like to meet you again soon

Hi Andy,

First time poster and a topic that makes me smile. I live in a diverse neighborhood of Boston, MA-which gets a bad name often. As a people person, one thing I did while driving on a Saturday off to run an errand.
I saw an elderly Vietnamese women sitting on the curb of the sidewalk with about five bags of groceries and she just seemed fatigued.

So I asked her if she wanted a ride to where she's going. She appeared a bit puzzled and surprised because I just happen to be black and she didn't expect for that to happen I guess let alone anyone to help her. The cute elderly women said,"yes" in her broken English…here's the funny part.

She faced the building behind her started yelling in her language and all of the sudden here comes her son who looked in his mid 50's from the side of the building with five bags himself. Then both mother and son jumped into my car…lol.

As they're getting out of my car, they kept thanking me and the son told me to come over for dinner. I have yet to do so but hopefully soon. It was just funny if you could have seen it I didn't get to my errand but being neighborly many times is more important. The money is not #1 but if I did win it I would give 15% to my church, keep $100 myself, and give $325 to my cousin who's looking for an apartment for his homeless mom-my aunt.

Sorry for the long post and Congrats to whomever wins!

God Bless & Peace,
Maurice :-)

Hi,

Marceline - I remember you, and yes I will be at this London lunch.

Maurice - I was in Boston last week. But it was snowing and cold so I didn't do much touring the city.

Thanks for such a positive post.

Regards,

Andy

Andy,

What a wonderful and positively affirming idea. Ever since reading your "Knowing Where to Tap", I've been reading all that I can from you. You've taught me alot.

I'm even more excited to know that you're magnetizing abundance the way you are. It is amazing how wonderful life can be when we live in an "aura of gratitude".

I have been and will continue to PIF in all areas of my life. I have very little, but what I do have I give freely. You only know the depth of lack after you've experienced it for yourself.

I'm currently designing a web page for a local soup kitchen to help them maximize their exposure and help them increase their ability to help feed the homeless .

If this works the way I think it may, it could very well be the beginning of another year filled with reward. None of us who practice abundance expect reward, it is just a very pleasant residual effect.

Should you decide to choose my PIF idea I promise to put fully half of it toward this initial project and the remainder to facilitate doing the same thing for other non-profits. Thanks for the opportunity to share.

The price went to Sharlene Raven, who is using the money to take her kids on holiday.

Well done Sharlene!
